Welcome to my website. My name is Aytekin. I am an associate professor at the London Business School.
My research focuses on the real effects of information disclosure and reporting practices, especially in banking. My papers also examine the role of accounting in corporate and SME credit markets.
I teach financial reporting and analysis (Executive MBA), and M&As, private equity, valuation (Executive Education). My doctoral courses explore empirical research topics on financial intermediation and debt contracting.
Outside of work and family, I enjoy cooking, history, board games, and sports—football, American football, and basketball.
